The Colorado State Law Enforcement Memorial was created to remember our fallen officers in the state of Colorado.
As you enter into the memorial site, you are presented by a wall of names. This wall depicts over 300+ officers killed in the line of duty. Below the maps you will find the badge of the foundation who made this memorial possible. As you make your way into the memorial a larger than life size peace officer is presenting a folded flag. If you look close enough at the officer, he has a single tear running down his cheek. The raw emotion captures the moment that many families have gone through burying their fallen officer and family member.
This memorial will stand for generations to honor who have given the ultimate price to help and save others.
A special thank you to: Roche construction, Capt. Berry Bratt, Linda Holloway and the CLEM board members for their tireless efforts to make the project come to life.
