I was taken by the response form the K9 handlers, friends, family and the media as response to the nations newest natinal monument. By being one of the youngest artist to place a National Monument in Washington, D.C, it still does not seam real to me. This sculpture was the culmination of over 1700 hours of work. During the process, I recrafted the sculpture 3 times to arrive at the final design to were I see only the highest of perfection. I am blessed for the opportunity to show my work around the United States and give theses K9 handlers a voice and place where the past, present and future K9’s will forever have a bronze replication of them selves. This sculpture is placed at 500 F St NWWashington, District of Columbia
