I was fortunate to be able to unveil my latest police officer sculpture, the, “Modesto Fallen Police Officer Memorial” located at the Modesto Police Department (California). This sculpture was the culmination of 900 hours of sculpting work with an additional 3 months of lost wax bronze casting. During the process, I re-crafted the sculpture 3 times to arrive at the final design. Perfection and detail are important to me, and I believe the end result shows that.
The Modesto Police Department was very pleased with the result, and thought that the sculpture will show the community a timeless place for reflection of the two fallen officers lives. At night there is a (thin blue line) lite depicting a fallen officer.
I find that my sculptures are much more than bronze representations; they invoke conversation, interaction, and approachability with community involvement. The Modesto Fallen Police Officer Memorial will hopefully be a piece that ties the work of the police officers into their community. This sculpture was funded by the public from generous donations across the Modesto county.
In addition to honor all police officers I have sculpted a small version of this sculpture. Please call for information. 970-231-8077
